1. The stay
[Business name] will board [dog's name] from [check-in date and time] to [check-out date and time]. The owner will collect the dog by [latest pick-up time]; a late pick-up is charged at [rate].
2. Health and vaccinations
The owner confirms the dog is in good health and up to date with [required vaccinations], and will show proof before the stay. The owner has told the business about every medical condition, allergy, medication and behaviour that matters for the dog's care.
3. Medication and food
The owner supplies the dog's food and medication, labelled with the dose and times. The business will give them as written and record each one.
4. Emergencies and vets
If the dog is unwell or hurt, the business will try to reach the owner and the emergency contact [name and phone]. If neither answers, the business may take the dog to [the dog's vet or the nearest vet], and the owner will pay the vet's fees.
5. Behaviour and play
Dogs that play together can get scratches or nips despite supervision. The business may keep the dog apart from others if it shows signs of stress or aggression.
6. Payment and cancellations
The stay costs [price]. A deposit of [amount] is due at booking and the balance at [check-in or pick-up]. Cancellations made less than [notice period] before check-in [lose the deposit or are charged in part].
7. Uncollected dogs
If the dog is not collected within [number] days of the check-out date and the owner cannot be reached, the business may [arrange ongoing care at the owner's cost or contact the authorities].
